The old-school physics engine of Rocket: Robot on Wheels (1999) - Nintendo 64 (real hardware)
Thumbnail credits: Ben K on Mobygames for the Rocket: Robot on Wheels cover art image and Britannica for the Isaac Newton image!
This upload is pretty much just an excuse to record myself dicking around with the Newtonian physics in RRoW and testing its limits a bit. Pretty advanced for its age and platform! Jurassic Park: Trespasser (1998) also had similar physics but there was considerably less intellectually stimulating problem-solving involving said physics, so I would probably consider this game the real pioneer of 3D "physics-puzzle" games or whatever you would call it.
Capture done via S-Video to a RT4K scaler which is then outputting to a Magewell USB Capture AIO.
