The Perfect Birria and Steak Fusion! | Birria Steak with Birria Compound Butter Recipe #shorts
This was the absolute best way i’ve ever used Birria... and a must try!!
Birria Seasoned Steak with Birria Compound Butter cooked to perfection in the oven with the help of my @typhur_culinary Sync dual probe Thermometer!
Ingredients:
- 2 Steaks, i used Chuck eye
- Birria Seasoning ( made in prior video!)
- 1 Stick of softened butter
- 2 cloves of garlic, minced
- 1 tbsp of chopped cilantro
- 1.5-2 tbsp Birria Seasoning used on steak
Instructions:
1. Start by preheating your oven or smoker to 250 F. I used an oven for this, if using a smoker you can set it to 225 F!
2. Season up the steaks generously with the Birria seasoning! The closes combo to this would be using Chili powder, onion powder, paprika, roasted garlic powder, salt, pepper, cumin, and a small amount of ground cloves.
3. Once the steaks are seasoned up, place in the Typhur Sync dual probes into each steak to ensure we get that perfect medium rare cook! They are slightly different size so keeping an eye on internal temp is very important!
4. Place the steaks in the oven and let them cook until the desired internal temp is reached! i pulled mine at 119-120F and they rested up to 125.
5. Sear them using your preferred method, i love using a torch or grill for the extra char! The final internal temp should be close to 132.
6. top with the compound butter and melt that over the top to let the flavor baste over the steak while it rests for 5-7 minutes minimum!
Enjoy one of my favorite steaks i have ever made! It really was a fun way to use Birria and get even more of that amazing flavor into a steak!
Always keep in mind that when you cook using any method, never cook to specific times and always pay attention to internal temp over anything else! Using my Typhur Sync Wireless Thermometer has honestly made experiments like this even easier!
