The Quivering is a First Person early 3D Adventure with some whacky charactes. The game is pretty old, it was released 1997 and suffers a bit from a clunky inventory system. So instead of having a inventory on top of your screen with the different items, you Right-Click Cycle through your different options. The Option is your usual mouse cursors, that show if you can interact with an object, or if you can walk a certain path. The next option is a Cube, which brings you to a subscreen, where you can "equip" an item. And the third option is the equipped item. So as example, if you want to use a key, that is in your inventory. You go to the subscreen, equip the key, go out of the subscreen and use the key on the locked door.
I mean it works, but it needs to get used to.

Btw. this is one of these Adventure games, where you can die. If you die, you go back to the Mainmenu with the option to load the last save. To save the game, you go to the subscreen, sacrifice one of the imps you found. Which means, that there is no auto-save and that your number of saves are limited.

If you can bear with this, then the Quivering will wait for you with crazy looking characters in a Dr. Frankenstein Fantasy type of world.
