The Secret Of Monkey: Special Edition Island Introduction scene
One of the first video games I ever truly loved was the original Secret of Monkey Island on the Amiga. After hundreds of hours playing it I was unable to get into the Giant Monkey Head in Part Three. Three years later after selling our Amiga and the six(!) disk version of Monkey Island I was given a PC copy for my birthday. This copy, like the Amiga version, had a circular disk whereby you had to match the pirate face and get the date that they were hung on; a simple form of copy protection which was much preferable to DRM junk that exists today.
After a few hundred more hours playing this version I got to the Ghost Pirate Ship and was unable to get the keys to Governor Marley's cell. Six years later I bought my third of four copies which came with Monkey Island 2 and 3 as well and finally finished the game.
The first time playing through the Special Edition on my PS3 I missed the trophy for finishing the game in under three hours by about fifteen minutes. I cannot really overstate how much I love this game. This is just the intro and initial credits while the gameplay will start in the following video.
