The "Vault of Obscurity" has FINALLY been opened.
There's one part of my childhood that stood out more to me than I remember... and that's the "Wario Land SERIES". Back when I was young and curious, I remember stumbling upon "Wario Land 2" out of boredom when I was young, and playing it for the first time left me with SO many fond memories... but my curiosity only grew from that point forwards.
I wanted to get to know the Wario as a character, and play some of his games as well... so I decided to play the other entries as well. (And no, I didn't forget about Waluigi, either. I'll be showcasing something related to him soon. Trust me. ;3) Despite each of them playing the same way, I found a TON of enjoyment out of playing these games. Stumbling across puzzles that prove to be a decent challenge, discovering hidden passageways that reward you with coins (or even a rare collectible), and even THROWING enemies was enough to keep me engaged with a series [and a character] that I grew fond of over the years.
But aside from the 'Mainline Entries', I wanted to stray away from those for a bit an explore the world of the unknown: "The Wonderful World of Fan-Games". And little did I know that a certain YouTuber/Game Developer would catch my interest at heart, and his name... is "WwwWario". When I first came across this guy and his work, it was initially through the "Five Nights at Wario's SERIES". [I cannot stress enough how much of a fan-boy I was for that series back then.] Whenever a new entry for the series came out... I would always download it, because the challenge these games had to offer was NOTHING like the original FNAF Series at all-- they presented the player with a unique story that works, even to this day.
Aside from that series, though... I did get a kick out of his other games, too-- especially "Project Wario Land". What seemed like a simple recreation slowly grew more and more original, and that's what I absolutely loved about this guy and his work. It's a shame that it won't be getting updated anytime soon, because I found some pure enjoyment out of this project of his... but look on the bright-side. At least this project is still up for everyone to enjoy playing, am I right? [I encourage you to give it a try, guys. This project is a whole lot bigger than it looks, so if you're into exploration & good ol' fashioned platforming... then please give it a try. :D]
