This Godot 4.4 Node Saved My 2D/3D Game (Pathfinding & NavigationRegion3D) Devlog
In this devlog, I show how I finally implemented real pathfinding in Godot 4.4 using NavigationRegion3D and NavigationAgent3D. I replaced my old workaround with RayCast3D and built a proper AI navigation system for my game.
Whether you're working on enemy AI, patrol systems, or player movement, this is a huge upgrade from makeshift solutions. Godot's new navigation features have come a long way, and might save your project too.
