South Park: The Fractured But Whole!

.....Ohhhhh I get it.

Just like with The Stick of Truth, the game looks and feels EXACTLY like the show.

Everything from the visuals, music, voice acting, and of course the humor.

Trey Parker and Matt Stone's clever writing was palpable here. They deliver the series's trademark crude humor by lampooning the superhero genre.

Each character has their own special abilities and it was amazing to see them in action.

My favorite is Stan Marsh's ultimate move because it's a cool reference to Gurren Lagann, one of my favorite anime.

The combat received a noticeably vast improvement over the Stick of Truth. Where Stick of Truth borrows the battle system of Final Fantasy 7, The Fractured But Whole based its system on XCOM. Combat Scenarios demand tactical thinking and positioning because your character's placement on the battlefield will determine their abilities usage.

Unfortunately, the combat was the one and only improvement from its predecessors. Nothing else is changed from the Stick of Truth. The purpose of a sequel is to expand upon the previous game's several features, not just one.

Consequently, it felt like playing through a clone rather than a sequel.

It didn't help the story wasn't compelling enough.

I still wholeheartedly recommend this game for any #southpark fans.
