Description:
Lawmage Academy is a school for training mages that act as law enforcement and monster exterminators. Some see this institution as a force for good while others see it as a means for the government to limit humanity's magical potential. As your silent protagonist studies here, they find that there are things worse than monsters and school schedules.

0:00 Character Creation
I wanted to name my character Rean Coldsteel, but there weren't enough characters, so I went with R. Coldsteel. To determine your starting skills, stats, and house, you have to answer some personality questions. I ended up in Vissage because of my wishy washy choices.
5:38 Day One
Grab everything in your room to get some starter armor. Also, be sure to grab a daily apple from the commons. In the Drakewood Garden, be sure to grab a piece of Oakwood, which respawns every day.
At the academy entrance, talk to Ein so that he'll temporarily join your party. He's in the Vissage house, but I have no idea if he's meant to always be the same as the player or if he's meant to always be in Vissage. I think it's the latter, since you seem to be able to make friends with one major character from each house.
Inside the academy building, you can talk to Marlon, who will reward you if you examine all the high magister statues. You can also grab some free stuff in some of the classrooms.
I really wish the lady at the front desk, Magister Helga, would save the game like the Record Keeper, since it's a bit cumbersome to have only one save point on campus. Plus, one would usually save right before starting a class.
26:34 Homeroom
This is an intro class that explains what you must do in this school. The class system works like Mana Khemia, in that you take a specific class for a day or more before crossing it off your list. Of course, there's a time management aspect so that you need to balance class taking with self-studying, doing late night jobs, hunting in the wilds, socializing, etc,
One student, Jin, is reprimanded for showing up late, but you don't find out why until later.
28:55 Weird Books
Once class is over, you'll be in the hallway, but you can't leave until you pick up the blue book. Afterwards, you get tired and automatically return to the dorm. I forgot to go into the main hall of the commons, but fortunately, there isn't anything too major there.
You'll find another book in your room, Past, who comes alive and takes the role of your secretary for the rest of the game.
31:15 Day Two
Grab the daily apple and wood and head to the academy. You can now visit the infirmary and library, but cats (likely shapeshifted lawmages) will block access to certain areas.
43:58 Spellcasting Basics
You get to choose your first spell, and I went with healing because I'm not sure if any future party member will have it.
At night, you can take a job, but note that doing so will tire you out faster.
48:42 Illegal Spellbook?!
Outside the academy building, you can find a shady trader who will sell you spellbooks for the spells you neglected yesterday. Make sure you have both the offensive magic spell and the healing spell, since the former is also needed for field obstacles.
Unfortunately, reading the spellbook will take up time equal to a class or late-night job, and you have to do so three times in order to learn the spell.
53:09 Potioncraft 101
For this class, I chose to make mana potions because I have a healing spell. I have no idea if the tired status affects your chances of succeeding at this class.
57:15 Tiredness
I find out the hard way that doing too many night activities in a row will make the protag tired, which makes them miss more in battle. Worse yet, I discover a fatal flaw in the autosave feature, which will hopefully be fixed in later versions. For now, just save in two slots each night. At this point, I spent the next few days catching up on sleep and finishing the Engaia book. Make sure to be fully rested before taking on the first combat class.
