Description:
I was given permission to LP Unknown Mode, but I wasn't given permission to share Unknown Mode's ldb file. This is an older work that doesn't reflect the current goals of the developer. While the game isn't on par with Sacred Earth - Promise, it's still pretty amazing for the age of its engine.
Gunnar and Veili Myrrine's father is ill, and only the extremely rare Adelpryd plant can cure him. The two venture into a mysterious fortress as they grasp for straws on the plant's location, but then discover a conspiracy by Alzilory Silvern and his crew of highly trained warriors.

Patchouli is worried about Veili and Gunnar, so the Aylin sisters go out and try to look for them. The first step is to go to the Myrrine family's house. Note that there is no treasure to look for. Start by going west from the starting point. Eventually, you'll find an inn where you can save and buy things if needed. For some reason, most of the NPCs cannot be interacted with.
You'll know you're on the right path when you run into a boss.

It seems to have really high physical defense and is quite strong, so I threw away honor and used poison. Somehow, it pulled a suicide attack on Patchouli.

At the Myrrine house, Priel and Patchouli will inform Komachi, who assumed her children stayed over at the Aylin house. You can go inside the Myrrine house, but there's not much you can do.
Return to the starting point and go east. On one of the side paths, you'll find a summoning site, which initiates a minor encounter. Afterwards, Priel and Patchouli are teleported to another area. Coincidentally, Veili and Gunnar also got teleported to this area because of Veili's curiosity with a similar device. The party meets another group, where everyone looks a lot like us, but recolored. After an argument about weapons, a fight initiates, though fortunately you only have to fight four out of six of their members.
I don't know who is who in the enemy party, but I got the names: Riou, Garr, Nel, Tai, Amy, and Roy. I think Garr and Amy mirror Gunnar and Veili respectively. Nel mirrors Patchouli. One of Riou, Tai, or Roy mirrors Priel, though I suspect it's Riou because he's the last to speak and seems to be their leader.

They're even stronger than Team Alzilory, due to having group buffs that they can stack. Fortunately, the game raised everyone to Rank 99, giving them all their skills. Additionally, if you hadn't already noticed, every skill rank actually gives a slight increase in stats, albeit not as much as normal stat allocation. Still, the fact that we got so many Ranks at once gives us enough of a stat boost to match the rival team. I suspect this is actually a debug thing the dev put in to playtest the boss.

Afterwards, we get teleported back and leave the overloaded summon device behind. Keep going north to get to the Tower of Souls.
21:33 Boss: Flare Titan and Ice Titan
Yes, I had to look up the ldb file. The ice titan can inflict Freeze, but you can poison both of them. Fight DOT with DOT!

Now the two can enter the Tower of Souls to catch up to Gunnar and Veili. The episode ends here, which is probably for the best so we don't have to resolve every puzzle on our way to the Gaea Stratum.
I cross-checked the monster image files with the ldb and there seems to be two secret encounters I missed, Parzhu and Renai. Their names don't come up in any of the lmu map files (checked with Astrogrep), so maybe they were never put in the game.
