0:00 Aspio's Eccentric Genius
The Wonder Chef is up to his old tricks again, disguising himself as weird objects and rewarding you with recipes for finding him.
You can't enter the front gate of Aspio, since you don't have a passport. Instead, you'll have to go through the back door, which is easy due to Karol's lockpicking skills.
When you get to Mordio's house, you discover that Mordio is a girl and that she claims that you have the wrong person. Maybe the Mordio that stole from the Lower Quarter is a relative or impostor?
Rita Mordio will join the party in order to clear her name and help catch the thief in Shaikos Ruins, who might have run into Flynn.
18:20 Shaikos Ruins
Once I stepped inside, I went back out to go to the caravan so I could start an event. In this event, we learn that Rich was tasked with killing Giganto monsters, but hasn't had much luck so far.
In the ruins, you'll learn some additional mechanics, like the Sorcerer's Ring and ambush encounters. Unlike me, take more care to kill every enemy you see, repeatedly, since drop rates are kind of low and you won't be able to forge anything unless you're targeting specific mobs. This is especially true for the golems.
You'll find the thief at the end, but the thief activates a gigantic golem.
43:18 Boss: Goliath (Hard)
The secret mission is to attack the back of its leg when it charges. To accomplish this, try to keep the boss between you and other melee attackers, making its heel open no matter which way it faces. However, the boss can also make physical attacks bounce off it to prevent you from comboing it, which may be due to the angle you attack it at. You'll want to give Rita plenty of Orange Gels, since her magic is more effective.
When the boss uses Over Limit, use a purely defensive AI setting for your allies. You may need to adjust the Defend strategy. Even when in the Defend Strategy, you can micromanage with Estelle and Rita to use artes if they're far away enough from the boss.

On your way out, you'll eventually have to rescue the thief from some monsters. The thief is then knocked out so the guards can arrest him later, assuming the monsters don't eat his unconscious body.

Rita's time with the party should be over, except not. She wants to take a look at Halure's tree blastia and will tag along.

Rita is surprised that Estelle was able to make the tree better than before. On your way out, you'll run into the Schwann Brigade.
1:08:32 Boss: Adecor and Boccos's Over Limit Tutorial (Hard)
You'll gain access to the Over Limit mechanic, but as bosses, Adecor and Boccos have access to the superior version of Over Limit. They're still weaker than the previous boss, but you'll have to switch between targeting them depending on who is in Over Limit.
Afterwards, the red-eyed assassins will show up, prompting the Schwann Brigade to drop their fight with Yuri and take care of the bigger criminals.
