TMNT: Hyperstone Heist & Turtles in Time (SNES) (via Cowabunga Collection) playthroughs
Two games today, both 16-bit home ports of the second Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles arcade game, Turtles in Time. So how are they? Well, I think the SNES one is slightly better, slightly. Though I think the Genesis one looked better. SNES was closer to the arcade, not that that's all that important, but had more diversity in the bosses, and enemy line ups. Genesis couldn't seem to handle two bosses, or even two different enemy types - so no mousers with foot ninjas, for example. Also, Genesis levels were much longer overall, even if fewer of them. So the games were about the same length. They're both fun. After all, they're both based on some really good arcade beat'em-ups. And I'm glad to finally knock them off my list. -- Watch live at https://www.twitch.tv/the_nametag
