Tom and Jerry: Frantic Antics is a 1993 video game developed by Beam Software for the Sega Genesis and the original Game Boy.
The game is based on Tom and Jerry: The Movie, which was released a year ago. That connection wasn't directly facilitated, probably because the film was both a critical and box-office failure.
Overview
In both versions, the game is a side-scrolling platformer. Players, like Tom in some levels and Jerry in others, have to navigate ten obstacle-filled levels based on locations in the movie (e.g. Tom's owner's dilapidated old house, alley, library, carnival, etc.) .
As in the movie, Tom and Jerry's goal is to work together to defeat Robin's enemies, including Aunt Figg (the game's final boss), and reunite Robin with her father.
