Tom Clancy’s Ghost Recon® Breakpoint: Frozen Shrieks.
Briefing:
In an effort to slow down Sentinel's growing influence in the world, the DoD has agreed to initiate a plan that would hamper their global comms. We will begin by taking out one of the main sources based here in Auroa.
For months we were aware that Sentinel had set up a large communications system based in the Weather Station in Good Hope Mountain. The station itself is a front, effective since there is a department in the facility that actually does work on climate forecast. This, however, is about 20% of the staff - the rest are a mix of Skell engineers and Sentinel guards doing their part in keeping the global network active.
It is said that Sentinel have even their own web now, designed on a backbone of servers built on quantum computing systems so fast and secure their almost impenetrable. We need to get more intel on this if we are going to turn the tides in this war.
But there's a catch: you cannot simply storm the Weather station directly. There is a large number of Sentinel troops based in Outpost Red Ferret on standby should there be an attempted assault. To make matters worse, it would not just depend on the caller, but anyone, including the engineers working there, can send off the distress call. It would be impossible to counter this, no matter how fast and effective your assault is. Simply put, it would be suicidal. So Command feels there is only one effective solution to succeed in this mission: bring the fight to them.
Ghosts, you will choose your best sharpshooters, head out to Outpost Red Ferret and take out the enemy guards inside. Once completed, head up to the Weather Station and do the same. Be careful: not only are the guards in both places on full alert, but surveillance shows a frequent amount of vehicle patrols. Be discreet, but be ready for a gunfight should there be no other way out.
Good luck, Ghosts!
