Briefing:
There is a rising militia group in Auroa who call themselves 'the Purists'. Little is known about their agenda but from what we've understood from their online 'manifesto', they're bent on a quest to remove anything modern that has, quote: 'infested the very soul of Auroa and drifted our society and culture into the lost sea.' Initially we thought the group would align themselves with the Outcasts and double our efforts in defeating Sentinel occupation. Unfortunately, we were wrong.

A few days ago one of the Homesteaders' settlements were raided, many of the settlers dragged out of their homes, beaten and some even executed. The Purists later claimed responsibility, stating that the root of the problems lie on those who align themselves with Skell and everything associated with them, including the civilians who live and work for them. Although they don't fully associate themselves with Sentinel, there seems to exist a more sympathetic view on their presence, believing that the PMC was the first to cast out the 'Skell disease that has infested the archipelago' (quote/unquote). If there is an alliance between the two, this could be costly for the Outcasts and us, as it could reduce exponentially any potential future recruits that could help drive out Sentinel altogether. However, we may have an opportunity to turn things around.

Last night we got word that there was a scuffle between some Purists and two off-duty Sentinel Officers, in a bar somewhere in Liberty City. The fight turned ugly and culminated in the death of one of the Purists. Before they could retaliate, however, a motorised Sentinel Patrol burst in and broke off the fight. Today we learnt that the officers were let off and reposted at Darkwood Island Port in Cape North to avoid any further scuffles. Meanwhile, Intel has discovered that the Purest high-command insisted to those involved that they will not pursue this matter further, to avoid any unnecessary attention. However, this seems to be an internal decision agreed upon members only, which means Sentinel are unaware of this, and we want to keep it that way.

Ghosts, two of you will dress in attire matching up to a Purest 'dress-code', don similar types of weapons and assault the Port in Cape North, giving priority in taking out those two officers in the process. Make sure the security cameras pick up every detail, so as to make sure Sentinel are clear the Purists were behind the attack. Command believes that if we can get them to fight each other, it'll eventually weaken both sides and work to our advantage. Details of the gear can be found in your briefing.

Good luck, Ghosts!
