So, the good news is we were able to track the kidnappers who sped off with the victims while you were storming the district. As we predicted, they exposed themselves and tried to get away. The bad news is, they did. And it gets worse.
It turns out Sentinel were involved in the op, they just didn't run it. A few days prior to the kidnapping, they were approached by two civilians who grew tired of being stuck in the island and wanted out. A Sentinel Commander (who was later killed in your raid) promised them their freedom if they would show their gratitude by kidnapping 'someone of importance'. They targeted the couple because of her knowledge in nanotechnology and his political employment in the island. They thought a '2-for-1' package would be satisfactory. They were wrong. It would have been better if we did catch them, because after Sentinel aided their escape, the kidnappers, both in their early 20s, were executed in cold blood. We found their bodies disposed of near the bridge on the mouth of Growler River.
And the couple? Initially we feared the worst, until our tech boys intercepted vital comms from Camp Weasel in Good Hope Mountain. They confirmed the wife is still alive and being held captive at the Wolf Camp. As for the husband, we're not sure yet, but we think they were separated, so as to make our job harder in recovering them, but we are betting on the fact that he's held at Red Weasel Outpost since security has increased there in the last few hours. If so, they have to do a bit of an excursion, as the bases aren't well connected - and this may be the reason why they were chosen in the first place.
Ghosts, you know what to do. Bring the unlucky couple back alive, God knows they are desperate for their freedom after their ordeal. Make sure you stack up enough gear for two raids. This storm has no intention of clearing up anytime soon, so you'll have to infiltrate from the ground. Air assets are out of bounds for the moment.
