Tom Clancy’s Ghost Recon® Breakpoint: Joyrider
Briefing:
A few weeks ago the DoD reported that a ballistic missile belonging to a North Korean SCUD launcher had gone missing. This raised a few alarms because, allegedly, it's a specific model that could contain a nuclear warhead. Whether the SCUD actually contained the WMD at the time of its disappearance is another question, and the CIA and NSA have a hard time confirming it with the little assets they have at their disposal. South Korean intelligence insists it didn't, as their argument stands that NKs actually being able to mount a nuclear warhead on a SCUD launcher is just false propaganda on their part. This could be true, but DoD is still concerned since we do have classified satellite and drone footage confirming the presence of active nuclear facilities in North Korea.
Then last night, one of our HUMINT assets working at an Auroa port sent us pictures of a truck containing unusual markings. She was smart enough to place a tracker on it as well, because when Intel inspected the markings, they turned out to be Hangul, or simply put, the NK alphabet. The tracker currently places the truck at the Silent Valley Mine, but apparently made a stop at the Drone Station just further south as well. We don't know if this truck has anything to do with the missing SCUD, however the timing seems to be somewhat fitting and it's hard for us to believe this is just coincidental. Also, Sentinel have no official business deals with the NK (currently).
Either way, you'll need to take out that truck and any other contents it may have left during its journey. Gather any further intel that may be beneficial for us as well. Our latest data shows a somewhat strong presence by the mine, but not so much at the Drone Facility.
Good luck, Ghosts!
