Intel has been picking up an increase amount of chatter on Sentinel's secure comms originating from Lake Country. Unfortunately most of it is gibberish, but the fact that it's out of the norm has raised alarms. We've gathered data received from recon drones and HUMINT but it's not much; all we have pieced together right now is that there's a large mass of Sentinel soldiers and enemy drones at the Two Lakes Residences, Skell Security R&D Centre and the Skell Security Assembly Hall facility.
Although not everyone is in agreement, there are some within the intel community that this could have something to do with the possible sighting of a Russian nuclear sub only a few miles north of the archipelago. If you're unaware of this story, about two weeks ago a British Daring Class Destroyer had detected it while headed to North Korea. Her Majesty's Navy insists they were fired upon first, which is why they fired back and eventually sunk it. Thankfully all of the Russian sailors had survived but this has caused an international incident which is still ongoing.
This issue was none of our affairs but one of our intelligence officers made an interesting analysis, stating that according to Russian sources which she was able to get her hands on, no wreckage was found of the sub by their own search parties. Although this is not public news, yet, our intel officer claims that there are many within the Russian high command who suspect foul play. If this is true, it could spark further tensions within an already escalating situation.
Whatever the case may be, Command feels a strike first questions later approach would be beneficial for all in this case.
Ghosts, you will storm and clear the Skell Security Assembly Hall. From the latest images, it seems there is quite a large Sentinel presence, with a few RTOs and a couple of heavily armed drones. It's important that if you do find anything that could lead to the reason behind this sudden increase in Sentinel presence, so as to clarify why this is happening in the first place. If this turns out to be something of significance, we may need you to assault the other two AOs of interest.
Watch yourselves, arm accordingly and make those shots count.
