Mission: Clear out the Facility, Take out the Choppers and Capture the Commander
Briefing:
A group of French and Russian mercenaries where found guilty by the Supreme Court in Paris in aiding and abetting a jihadist fundamentalist group operating in northern Africa. The group, known as 'Al Qatil', have been responsible for the numerous atrocities in the region, which include the killing of innocent civilians, kidnapping, brutal executions and maritime piracy.
Although these mercenaries operated independently, they were well supplied with gear, weapons and vehicles. The French authorities could not get a confession as to who their supplier was, but their investigation did reveal several ferries operating under a front company who has been under suspicion before by both the FBI, Interpol and Scotland Yard. With the help of data you've recovered from previous missions, intel dug out further details about this dummy company and discovered that it is actually owned by Sentinel.
Specifically it's run by a Commander within the company who runs and operates missions within the Silent Mountain region. With the help of remote contacts advertised within the black market and the dark web, anyone interested in going to war privately can simply contact him for supplies and, if necessary, extra muscle as well, for a higher price of course. Funnily enough, the FBI did flag up a photo taken in Marrakesh of a suspected Sentinel member, but nothing came of it. When intel evaluated the photo again, they managed to identify some of the French and Russian mercenaries who were convicted. The Sentinel suspect may have been involved in the deal.
We've been in contact with the French authorities who have, in return, requested the Commander be extradited for further questioning. We've brought the case to the DoJ who have approved the extradition. The paperwork is done - now, Ghosts, it's up to you.
Command, however, does not want this to be a simple 'snatch n grab' job. They want everything affiliated with the suspect to be shutdown indefinitely, including his network responsible for the supplying of mercenaries across the globe responsible for the taking of innocent lives, directly or otherwise. First, you will clear out the Auroa Intranet Control facility where the network is run, so that our intelligence community can go in and get their hands on as much intel as possible, under the protection of the Outcasts. Next, head further south towards Dagger Lake where two armed helicopters are to be taken out. It looks like they're the latest in the string of supplies to be headed off to whoever ordered them. We cannot allow that. Finally, infiltrate Camp Black Widow and grab our primary suspect. Do what you must within the camp, as long as we get the Commander back alive and in one piece.
