Briefing:
For the last few days, a team consisting of Outcasts and Skell engineers have been monitoring the progress of Sentinel's drone production in the Good Hope Mountain. When they last radioed in, only a few hours before, they confirmed the PMC's final development of a new drone capable of, quote, 'frightening capabilities'. Seconds later, they were ambushed and before Outcasts could radio in reinforcements, comms went dark.
We're not sure if and who survived the attack, but radio chatter intercepted by our intel team confirms 'homesteader' prisoners being held in both Camp Weasel and Red Weasel Outpost in the same region. Apparently the Outcasts had reached out to try and negotiate their release, but it seems both the Wolves and Sentinel on each respective base have denied any offer and threated to kill the prisoners if an attempt is made to rescue any of the two.
This could be them playing the hard dominant line, but it could also be an attempt in making sure no further evidence of the latest drone production goes public. Whatever they're up to, Command feels it could lead to devastating consequences and have given priority in the sabotage of Sentinel's production material. However, they've also made it clear that 'no ally should be left behind'.
Ghosts, your first or primary mission is to infiltrate the Natural Hazards Control facility and rid of the materials currently containing the final components of the new drone. You will then head further east and take out the glitching drone which aided in the ambush. It seems the Outcasts were able to fend it off and damage it before getting killed. In the same area, hack into and shutdown the antenna which could slow down Sentinel's attempt in updating the prisoner's status. This will help in the next rescue mission.
Command have decided with the Outcast leadership that you will assault Camp Weasel, while they head into Read Weasel. Your strikes need to be synchronised to assure the safety of both hostages. Once clear, head out to the nearest safehouse where the hostage will be take care of.
This is a mission with a long 'to do' list, but if successful, could further our alliance with the Outcasts.
