Welcome back to my channel, dear gamers. As promised, today we'll slink back into shadowy world of Tom Clancy's Splinter Cell, this time with the series' third installment, Chao Theory, so sit back, relax and enjoy.

Please note that like with every other Splinter Cell game on the channel recorded thus far, this one has various versions depending on the chosen platform. As always, i'm playing through the PS2 version of the game, meaning that if you're playing on either PC or Xbox, this walkthrough likely won't be of any use to you due to differences in level design. With that out of the way, enjoy the gameplay.

About Game: Tom Clancy's Splinter Cell: Chaos Theory is 2005 action-adventure stealth video game developed by Ubisoft Montreal and Ubisoft Milan and published by Ubisoft Entertainment for Windows-based PCs, PlayStation 2, Xbox, GameCube, Nokia N-Gage, Java-based mobile phones and Nintendo DS, having also been re-released on Nintendo 3DS as Tom Clancy's Splinter Cell 3D and as part of HD remastered collection for PlayStation 3 also including 2002's Tom Clancy's Splinter Cell and 2004's Tom Clancy's Splinter Cell: Pandora Tomorrow in 2011. It is the third mainline game in Tom Clancy's Splinter Cell video game series inspired by the works of and officially endorsed by American novelist Tom Clancy and direct sequel to both Splinter Cell and Pandora Tomorrow, with its story also being peripherally connected to PS2/GameCube version of 2004's Tom Clancy's Ghost Recon 2. Upon release, Chaos Theory was met with critical acclaim on account of its presentation, graphics, gameplay and level design and is often counted into the ranks of best video games ever made. It was also the very first Splinter Cell game to earn M age rating rather than T from ESRB owing to its much darker storyline and gameplay elements. It went on to sell over 2.5 million copies within only a month of release, earn multiple accolades and awards from multiple major gaming publications, including IGN's Editors' Award and remains in high standing even today, seen by many critics and fans of the series alike as the peak of Splinter Cell series. Due to this success, series was continued with Splinter Cell: Double Agent released in 2006.

Story of the game is set during the summer of 2007, approximately a year after the events of Pandora Tomorrow and follows Sam Fisher, elite operative of Third Echelon, black ops organzation embedded within US' National Security Agency as he is deployed to rescue an programmer trying to decipher dangerous digital protocols after he is kidnapped by Peruvian terrorists. However, after his mission fails, Sam finds himself facing another deep conspiracy which could cause new World War.

In June 2007, tensions in the Far East are on the rise as Japan's Self Defense Force has founded its digital counterpart known as Information Self Defense Force, or I-SDF. With People's Republic of China and Democratic People's Republic of Korea seeing this as an provocation and breach of Article 9 of Japanese post-World War 2 constitution prohibiting military buildup greater than needed for defense of Japanese territory, they send military vessels to Yellow Sea, with Americans planning to get involved as well by sending their own warship, USS Clarence E. Walsh as an show of force to Chinese and Koreans. As situation in Asia verges on escalation, Sam is sent to rescue Bruce Morgenholt, American programmer captured by People's Voice, Peruvian extreme leftist paramilitary group that plans to usher in societal revolution through digital terrorism. With Morgenholt being held in the group's temporary base located within an old lighthouse in Talara, Peru, Sam is inserted into the area as Morgenholt was an part of the group that tried to decipher Masse Kernels, weaponized digital protocols created by Phillip Masse, freelance hacker who worked for Kombayn Nikoladze during 2004-2005 Georgian Crisis. With the kernels being dangerous enough to cause temporary blackouts across US when used during Georgian Crisis, fears arise that the group may force Morgenholt to divulge information about them, making it imperative for Sam to get him out. However, Sam quickly discovers that the terrorists tortured Morgenholt to death and, continuing on to destroy the hard drive where terrorists stored the data secured from Morgenholt with further orders to kill the group's leader, Hugo Lacerda, discovers that People's Voice militants use surprisingly modern weapons for an rag-tag paramilitary group and that someone hired the group to kidnap Morgenholt. However, with Lacerda having already left the base aboard an cargo ship called Maria Narcissa, Sam is tasked with getting onboard and finding Lacerda...
