Tower of Doom (The Catacombs) in 22:03 [World Record]
8Achieved on November 19, 2023 on a real Intellivision III console. When selecting the Catacombs adventure, there are three different level counts you can select from, which will specify when the adventure will end. In this video, those completion times are as follows:
12 Levels: 7:20
18 Levels: 12:45
32 Levels: 22:03
Each is the world record for its respective milestone at present.
I've learned a lot about the game over the years through TASing and the like, including that the Warlock is an overpowered character, wands and holy handgrenades are overpowered weapons, I put together a spreadsheet telling me what items are worth picking up, and realized you can generally just hurry through each of the levels. Special thanks to Joshua8600's 23:41 previous record time in this category for inspiring me to go for a more ambitious time.
