Train Simulator 2019: Shunting In Doncaster
Doncaster Works is a reasonably old Train Simulator route. It represents nothing more than Doncaster railway station and the workshops as it was in the 1980s - the BR Blue era. The whole yard is very grimy and filthy, and - to me - captures the look of the BR Blue era very well. The route is available on Steam, and has been ever since it was first released:

Today we play one of the default scenarios included with the route - 3. Shunting Shells. The engine for this job is the trusty Class 03 shunter. This is not the version included with the BR Blue pack, which I featured recently. The version of the Class 03 you see in this video is the old version that came with this route.
We have been tasked with using the Class 03 to shunt some Mk1 carriage shells from one of the workshops over to the scrap line, which is probably the saddest part of the yard. Once we drop the coaches off, we have to take a damaged Class 47 over to the locomotive workshop for repairs.
