EuroAirport Basel Mulhouse Freiburg (BSL) is somewhat of a special one. Although on French soil the airport is jointly administered by France and Switzerland deviding the place into seperate sectors of the two countries. Nowadays with the Schengen Agreement it is less complicated, but you'll still see frequent signs mentioning of you are on the French or Swiss sector.

Thanks to my flying blue Gold status we will also be paying a visit to the Skyview Lounge at Basel Airport. For a regional Business Class lounge the place is really amazing! The flight to Paris Charles de Gaulle will be an Air France flight by HOP! on their small, but great Embraer 170. Funny fact, due to the special status of Basel Airport this is a domestic as well as an international flight at the same time. Enjoy the trip report!
