KLM Cityhopper's newest aircraft is the Embraer 195-E2. An significant improvement over the older Embraer models offering more comfort. Although the very first flight already took place on the 1st of March 2021, I wasn't able to experience the newest member of the KLM Cityhopper fleet. Luck wasn't on my side as I was supposed to be on one to Copenhagen, which got swapped for an Embraer 190 and then another opportunity was also unsuccesful when my flight to Porto was "downgraded" to an ordinary Boeing 737-800. But after many months, it is finally time to try the new Embraer 195-E2 from London Heathrow to Amsterdam!

Thanks to my Flying Blue Gold status we will be paying a visit to the No. 1 Lounge at London Heathrow Terminal 3. It comes nowhere near of the Skyteam Lounge over at terminal 4, but at least it's a okayish place to kill some time. Enjoy the trip report!
