Trying Data East Arcade 2 (Part 1) [Evercade #255]

So, it's weird to get a Data East Arcade 2 just under three years after the first one, but here it is!
And I like it so far!
B-Wings has the interesting jettison and diving mechanics, but the game is just pretty boring and it the interesting mechanics don't really matter in the end. It falls flat.
Peter Pepper's Ice Cream Factory is kinda but, but I kinda like it anyway! It's chaotic and weird and it's just wacky!
(Though if I was in a real arcade and was paying money for each attempt, I would not like it. :P)
Shoot Out is fantastic! Simple to learn, hard to master. There are a lot of little things to get points, and I can see this game being one of my favorite arcade games on Evercade period after a while.
Last Mission is...so hard to talk about for me, for some reason. I really don't know how I feel about it. I like the map system, and the risk vs reward it has (go here for more enemies and charge up the meter faster, but risk dying sooner) and the power-up system. But the overall controls I dislike more than like, and you move so slowly it's hard to even react.
I'm mixed on this game.
But, yes! I am enjoying this cart so far (like I do with most arcade carts) and I am excited to see what else this cart has in store! :D
