Turtles in Time Wrong Warp to Skip Most of the Technodrome (SNES) - A Wild Glitch Appears! #shorts
In Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles IV: Turtles in Time for the SNES, there's a crazy wrong warp glitch that can be performed in Stage 4: The Technodrome. In this episode of A Wild Glitch Appears! I will try to explain it kind of.
First it's important to know that the Mouser enemy (those tiny robots that jump and chomp) can hit two players at once if they are stacked right on top of each other. In this example, even though only Raphael appears to be affected by the Mouser's attack, both players take damage, and you can see that both of their life meters will decrease.
To set up this wrong warp glitch, you'll need to have two players at the Technodrome with at least once Mouser enemy on the screen. Place both turtles in such a way that the Mouser will damage them both as it leaps onto them. What you want to do is have both turtles time an attack so that the Mouser hits them both while they are in their attack windup animation. In other words, you want the Mouser to hit the turtles AFTER they hit the attack button, but BEFORE their attacks become active. This is the four frame window where the turtles "wind up" to swing their weapons.
If timed properly, both turtles will begin to walk toward the right side of the screen, and the screen will fade to black. The turtles will appear in the elevator section of the Technodrome, and they will again walk to the right and the screen will fade to black. Then, they will both appear at the fight against Shredder at the end of the level.
Now sometimes the game will appear to "reset" for a moment, and the level opening screen will appear, where it says "Scene 4 Technodrome Let's Kick Shell!" But then you'll be taken to the fight against Shredder, essentially skipping most of the level.
You might also notice that one life meter might be the wrong color and even display the wrong name. In this example, the game displayed an orange life bar with the name Mike when I was clearly playing as Donatello. Furthermore, I was able to have the first player (Raphael) use a continue and choose Donatello as a character, and then there were two Dons on the screen. Neat!
