As soon as he escaped the magnetic mine field through sheer violence, Trent's communication systems went back online, picking up all the important data and futuristic scam ads he missed.
And some tragic news.
A suspiciously neutral news broadcast reported a thermal blast in Midway, the Savaran city where Trent's family lives. The blast had destroyed many homes, and his parents were believe disintegrated by the blast. Trent knew he would have a price on his head, but his family? This was certainly no coincidence! The news broadcast ended with the words of a power engineers claiming the incident must have been caused by a weapon. A pure hypotheses for the rest of the universe, but a sad truth for the devastated Trent.

Unable to even grief the loss of his parents, Trent found himself fighting for his life in yet another asteroid Microsol base. None of the bases he stumbled on were charted on any stellar maps. Trent's resolve was to fight anyway, even if doomed to die, determined to at least cause Microsol a fraction of the pain they caused him, having suffered the loss - no, the murder - of this best friend, and now his entire family.

Windows Movie Maker is UTTER NONSENSE. How in the world can a "movie"-related software be unable to load AVIs?!
I tried solving the problem after a research and a few downloads, but it STILL doesn't want to load the damn video. (got it to work much much later)
When I recorded this part, I left out the music of the game, hoping to put something special instead. Which required Movie Maker. But I can't, and I'm too tired of trying to put up with Microsoft's capricious programs.
End result? No music here. I won't do this again unless I solve the problem.

At any rate, this is a secret level. It's not too hard, but still problematic with some turrets. Also, mind the large asteroids near the end ; I somehow died there the first time. I took damage from the enemies and the giant rocks, and then suddenly exploded without touching anything. I guess I hit a random small rock or something, but I didn't notice anything.
Use Invulnerability to get through those parts ; the map scrolls fast, so you can escape unharmed.

Also, don't forget to destroy the turret on the left, at the start of the level. Doing so makes a tank drop a Secret Level Warp later on.
Furthermore, the ship that appears with the tank has a powerup, but it only drops it if you destroy it on top of the tank. After a few tries, I deemed it impossible with my weaponry. Maybe using the Proton Field would've worked though (the 8 balls that surround your ship).

Oddly enough, you can tell whether you'll get the secret level Warp or not, by looking at the first "base" that you see. If there's traces of damage before you arrive, it means you won't get the secret level.

In the end, it can be a tricky level, because you must run the gauntlet at the end, and because of the platforms with fireball turrets.

Difficulty : 5/10
Number of tries : 2
