In hindsight, perhaps Trent should have been more curious back in the day. Perhaps he should have inquired more about the Hazudra Collectors. Buce would surely have talked about his race. But Trent didn't care much of his best friend's species. Back in the day, he didn't have the entire universe's future on his shoulders.

Now, the Collectors instruct Trent again. Finally able to entertain a conversation with them, Trent brings all his questions to the table, but instead lashes out in anger at being forced to fight yet another war in what is yet another instance of others sending Trent alone to face immense fleets hell-bent on killing him. More so now than ever, with his enemies not hesitating to even crash their ships on the Stalker if that's what it takes to take down the Ace Pilot.
When he calms down, Trent at last obtains the answers he seeks.

The enemy he is fighting isn't Microsol. It is the Zinglonites. Blind followers of the Order of Zinglon, a fanatical cult, these people have taken the arms in a fight to spread Zinglon's will. Which, apparently, is one of destruction. Food supplies are being stolen or destroyed across the sector, causing mass starvation. Fleets are mobilizing for a military conquest of the worlds, although Trent has just single-handedly eradicated one such fleet in the asteroid fields.

The Order of Zinglon has been there ever since the Not-So-Great Gryphon Explosion and Zinglon's scattering into a different dimension. Curse that explosion. Curse Zinglon for appearing on everyone's screens that day, however the hell that happened. Curse this naive universe for interpreting that event as proof of Zinglon's godhood. And curse these particularly devoted followers who are now pulling a Microsol on the universe.

Microsol itself is, according to the Hazudra, part of the Zinglonites. It was their main power, but after the Legend of Tyrian and the battles depicted within, Microsol was left on its death bed. Gencore and the other Alliance members mercilessly raided Microsol stations after Trent froze himself, gaining their technology and essentially eradicating the mega corporation. With no other choice, the Zinglonites took action directly, attempting to keep a low profile before they strike directly. But, the Hazudra caught wind of their plans.

In a flash, Trent realizes what has happened during his previous battles: Microsol was receiving constant reinforcements from the Zinglonites. This. This is the reason why Microsol would always show up with a tremendous fleet in every battle. It may have been a corporation larger than most could imagine, but it still didn't explain the absurd resources they put into battle - especially when the Rebels, Gencore, and all the allied forces joined the fight alongside Trent.

Knowing that he already faced and triumphed over countless Zinglonites, although he believed they were Microsol at the time, Trent faces his next mission. His desire to flee this universe will have to wait. For now, he will fight to finish what he started. Camanis, the ice world, will be hit the hardest by the Zinglonites' plans of starvation. Trent investigates the planet. The Hazudra inform him: the Zinglonites know of Trent. The loathe him. They see the Legend of Tyrian as the greatest heresy in history. All Trent needs to do is show up, and so will they, ready to fight to the death.

Coral is quite the challenge.

*I forgot to say, I exploited a glitch that apparently becomes available since Episode 4 : have TWO Front Attachments. I can't get two Firebombs though, so I replaced my Gerund with a Microsol FrontBlaster 2, for added front firepower. You can't throw the second Attachment, however.*

Noteworthy enemies include :

- Eels : The main threat. They fire Tangerine balls (blue balls) that can easily turn the screen into a lethal hell. With strong weapons or Invulnerability (SDF Main Gun at best), you can try to take them out.

- Manta Rays : they shoot high-level Lightning blasts in front of them. Better avoided unless you really want to get them.

- Star Shells : Evil. They start out as small, beige stars in the background. But they instantly grow in size as in attacking from the background, and start following you around. Remember the spiky metal balls from Episode 4? The stars do the same. But they appear in front of you, are resilient, and deal tremendous damage. I died there once. Try to nuke them by turning Invulnerable.

The boss is a platform with two things to destroy. Destroy them. Watch out, it shoots some stars.

Difficulty : 8/10
Number of attempts : I don't remember. At least 2. Probably like 3 or 4, because my weapons are waaaay overpowered for Engage Mode.
