Tyrian 2000 - Engage Mode - Part 47 (Nose Drip)
Trent is exhausted. The climatic battle inside Gyges left the Microsol fleets eradicated. Maybe the hostile Gygian population will finish the survivors off. A great power surge was building within the brain-like ship. This must have been Microsol's final plan: unleashing one final weapon against Gyges, hoping to take it over, and from there, conquer the other worlds. But Microsol has failed for the last time. Muldar sends no messages; he must have been destroyed, and Trent suspects he was the one piloting the brain ship, hoping to start his world conquest.
Transon contacts Trent, and once again forgets to close his communication channel. This time, Trent is not amused, not after Transon reveals that he got complacent. With Trent emerging victorious from impossible odds, over and over again, Transon has little to do beyond give orders to Trent and watch the universe get saved. Disgusted, not to mention exhausted, Trent logs his feelings in a personal log, so that he remembers this day: the day the universe betrayed him.
The universe itself is currently celebrating. A few days worth of effort brought the devastated planets back online. The only significant threat left of Microsol is Commander Nob, who messages Trent in a rather hilarious messages boasting how he has become the supreme leader of Microsol and, according to him at least, "everything". Part of Trent wishes to hunt down Nob and make him pay for trying to imprison Trent in Station Gryphon not too long ago, but Trent decides to simply ignore the boasts of the "Supreme Intergalactic Ruler of Everything".
Funny. It's been a while since Trent was about to be imprisoned in Station Gryphon. Feels like years passed when in fact it was barely... and what about the day where Trent escaped from Tyrian, starting his journey? He suddenly remembers the Hazudra friend whom Microsol assassinated, prompting Trent to leave... what was his name already? Trent realizes he needs a good night's sleep. He hides on Tyrian, now mostly a wasteland because Microsol lost all power, and rests...
... until he gets another message from the dead Vykromod, seeking vengeance.

The weird levels have to stop someday. Finally, here's the last one of Episode 4. Wonder how many weird levels Episode 5 will have...
So Vykromod, whose death isn't explicitly said until later, returns...
In the giant nose stolen from a museum, in the beginning of Episode 4. The "Nose of Zinglon", where "Zinglon" is the deity of this world.
Ok, so we find out throughout the game that Zinglon does exist, but isn't a god, but let's not get into that right now. Right now Vykromod wants you dead.
A boss-battle level. Vykromod isn't strong ; just annoying to hit. With the SDF Main Gun, I obliterated him, though. Without, it's just longer.
And finally, Episode 4 is over. Unlike the Full Game, here on Engage, you can't play the unlockable bonus stages, even the one that only appears if you have the Stalker 21.126.
