One of Trent's old friends, Dougan, is trying to make sense of Microsol's plans. The battle of Deliani, while difficult, still felt too easy given the dire circumstances. Dougan however is flying an unarmed ship and requires help from the Ninja to escape his Microsol pursuers.

Trent then turns to Transon for information, but he is busy cooperating with the rescued scientists to re-establish order on Deliani.

Finally, it's Reid that provides the information needed. Once the leader of the Mendivian C rebels back when Microsol launched the Fleet, Reid settled on Savara. Now, he is the Acting President of Savara. This title confuses Trent until Reid explains: the reason Microsol managed to pull on Savara the same trick they pulled on Deliani is because they were betrayed. Someone has sold the planet to Microsol and gave away as many security codes as possible. The royal family is missing, leaving the planet leaderless. Reid took the lead in the counterattack, but the Savarans are sorely outnumbered and must rely on taking refuge underground and striking when they get a chance.

Trent agrees to take on the bulk of Microsol's forces on the free world. The Z-29 Central Defense Station has been rebuilt for the... millionth time (Trent lost count), and must be destroyed once more.

"Savara IV".
...
First we faced "Savara". Then, "Savara V", which at first I assumed stood for "5" in Roman numbers. Then we got to "Savara Y", which made me think the "V" in "Savara V" was actually the letter "V", not "5". Now we're at "Savara IV", which very likely means "Savara 4". What the hell? Why would we go from 1 to 5 to 4? Time travel?
...
Actually, time travel might be the answer, as right now, the story starts to get some weird things in it, possibly implying time travel.

Anyway, time to destroy the Microsol fleets on Savara, and more captured defenses. The Z-29 Central Defense Station is back, rebuilt and reduxed by our friend Transom Lohk who was stupid enough not to change the security codes after many people betrayed him.

Most of the level is easy. You'll face big black planes which go down fast, and the Savara-style mechanical turrets. Some planes will shoot an overabundance of protrons (btw, "protRon" is a term used in Tyrian ; I'm not typoing "proton"). Those are more dangerous, and hard to destroy.

Soon you'll face the boss. The Z-29 became more dangerous. But as always, you don't have to destroy all its auxiliary parts before destroying the ship itself. I just did it for fun.
