Unboxing a used Apple MacBook Air M1 bought from the Amazon Warehouse Store
41So I bought a used Apple MacBook M1 from the Amazon Warehouse Store because it was a great price for what sounded like something with very few scratches.
I paid £860 for this used returned MacBook Air M1 and at the moment the same 8GB RAM with 512GB NVMe SSD storage version of the MacBook Air M1 costs £1250 from Apple.
So, as far as I was concerned, if this MacBook Air M1 only has a few small scratches to its sides and a damaged box, which is how it was advertised. Then it would be well worth the £390 difference and saving.
As it was, during the unboxing it was very clear that this MacBook Air M1 didn't have a mark on it. This makes it an awesome Amazon Warehouse buy.
Now don't get me wrong, so far I've only gone by the cosmetic appearance to judge whether or not this was a good buy. There could of course be physical, electronic and software issues with this laptop, if there are I will report back with another video.
For now though, I'm a happy bunny and am looking forward to doing a bunch of videos about the MacBook Air M1 pairing it up with various peripherals such as USB C hubs, USB C to HDMI cables, USB C ro DisplayPort cables, external SATA & NVMe SSDs and various Thunderbolt peripherals.
