How to turn on Developer Mode & USB Debugging on an Amazon Fire HD 10 tablet - Step by step guide
In this video I'm doing an easy to follow step by step guide on how to turn on Developer Mode on an Amazon Fire 10 HD tablet.
With Developer Mode active on your Amazon Fire tablet you can now activate and turn on USB Debugging mode. This will now allow access to ADB functions and other hidden parameters and options on your Amazon Fire Tablet that you normally don't get access to when not in Dev Mode.
In this mode you can now install the Google Play Store app on to your Amazon Fire Tablet. With the Google Play Store on your Amazon Fire Tablet you can now install many Android apps on to your Amazon Fire tablet that you otherwise can't install when your Amazon Fire Tablet is not in Developer Mode and without USB Debugging switched on.
This will also work to switch on Dev Mode on other Amazon Fire Tablets such as the Fire HD 8, Fire HD 8 Plus, Fire 10 HD Plus etc.
Here is the step by step guide on how to activate Developer Mode on an Amazon Fire Tablet.
1. Go to the Home screen on your Amazon Fire tablet.
2. Scroll down and select Settings.
3. In the settings menu scroll down and select Device Options.
4. In Device Options select About Fire Tablet.
5. In About Fire Tablet tap on Serial Number seven times.
