A beginning to end playthrough of Renovation's 1991 Sega Genesis game, Valis.

Valis was a fairly popular series in Japan, but never saw much love in the US despite getting all of the major games in one form or another. This version that this was based on as a port from the TurboGrafx 16 CD version (Mugen Senshi Valis [夢幻戦士ヴァリス]) was pretty well known for it's amazing cinematics featuring an "immodest" Yuuko, and a kickass soundtrack. Except for the excessively long still shots that now pass themselves off as cinematics, it retains just about everything cool about the CD version.

Since the playthrough I had originally done of this a few years ago was only 240p, I thought that the game deserved better :) So I rerecorded it, now in 720p60. Looks much better!
