So did some cooldown from that, though just did Pro circuit after seeing what the hardest setting had to offer.

Basically, on Champion, the other AI, will simply teleport in front of you, making it incredibly hard to actually get 1st/2nd. I heard it can be worse and you can get congolined to 8th place, but I only ever noticed 1st and 2nd getting taken. They basically phase through you or warp to the side. A well timed weapon can still let you win, but it's cheap garbage overall.

Pro expects you to do well on the course for the most part, but isn't too bad overall. A bit on the easy side on most stages, though I don't like any of the water stages. It shows up later on, but the AI tends to cheat on certain things, like walking over water. Since most of the stages involved are straight shots, if you make a mistake, you probably won't get first place.

The turning irks me, since sometimes, it just didn't seem to want to work, despite working fine for a majority of the race. If the racers weren't magnetic to your position, you'd probably be fine for the most part, but since I'd say like a 3 second delay will have them in front of you, it can be an issue. The other thing is fine when you notice it, but being unable to sharp turn after standard turning for so long kinda sucks at times.

Enjoyed most of the maps that involved several turns, adds a bit more then just holding left pretty much, like the very first map.

I found it rather odd how the collision works, with you basically being a total wimp who can't take a hit, but also can't do the same to your opponent. Getting shoved around really sucks and as mentioned before, enemies can just clip through you, which can stall you out.

I played through all the maps available, so the overall design was enjoyable, it just does a few things that limit options, like with how cheap Champion can be, it just makes me not want to play it at all. This is something that would probably be way more enjoyed in the pvp sense, since you'll likely have the same rules. Otherwise, time trial would be pretty good for the solo experience to dodge most of the bull the game can offer.
