This was an interesting one, though it's fun when ya get the ball rolling. This game is pretty hard, mostly due to a lack of options early on and enemies setup to murder you with body damage. This is on Normal for all of them, with the first being with no saves, then proceeding to use them later, since you can lose quite a lot without knowing much of the map.

I'm not much of a fan of things popping out of the back, but due to the saving feature, you can just do trial and error to get a layout of the map if you really wish to perform overall better. Whether it's decided to do that to do it all in one go or not, up to the player.

The ship is pretty lackluster when you start, which I'd say get a good amount of credits so you can get something useful for the next stage to proceed smoothly. I've ran into issues on the 4th mission due to a lack of damage potential, so the usually route I take, the homing missile, was very helpful when I went back and did it again.

Setup tend to be Homing missile if I was capable of getting enough credits, 3k engine if not, usually putting in nukes if necessary till I could replace both weapons. Didn't like most of the gun options, even the both way laser, the game never really threw anything at me the missiles and moving couldn't usually deal with. That or I can just nuke, as far as a stage with sharks is concern.

For the most part, it was pretty similar, once you get the weapon setup, the stages aren't that bad once you get past ships smashing into you or specific weapon niches so you don't get shot down by instant death green lasers. The bosses were in the following order for me for final boss. The 3rd mission, easiest, 4th, 1st then 2nd. The 2nd one is pretty brutal, when I did it beat it, I just went with completing one side, which I didn't know would trigger the shield dropping.

This one is based around it's obnoxious design, but there is a cross boss that you have to dismantle its pieces before you can kill it. Since the attack pattern seems random on when he launches the ships so they can be killed, it's quite annoying to have to wait around for it to do something while you get no options till it decides it's ready.

This game is free on GoG, so if you enjoy Shootum ups, this one is pretty good, but the difficulty can be pretty bad before you get a good setup to proceed forward.

Oh, as far as the ending goes, it blacked out and nothing happened. No idea why.
