The new mod for the Me-109-F4 and the Me-109-G4 really add punch to these aircraft. I added 2 under wing 20 mm gun pods onto these aircraft. The big advantage of this is that you can kill most single engine aircraft in one pass, and you can severely maul twin and quad engine aircraft in one pass. In addition to the 2 20mm cannons, the Me-109 has 1 cannon mounted through the propeller hub, and two 7.92x57mm machine guns mounted in the nose.

If you are in a good position to hug onto an enemy aircraft in a dogfight, deploy the combat flaps, and slow the aircraft speed down to 65 to 80%.
