Warcraft III: Reign of Chaos w/ EAX & 3D spatial sound 🎧 (OpenAL Soft HRTF audio)

This is Warcraft III: Reign of Chaos with EAX and OpenAL Soft's HRTF through DSOAL [IRC_1037 tables]. This is somewhat of a historical video, as version 1.30 removed Miles Sound System in favor of FMOD and removed all hardware accelerated audio extensions. Obviously, the camera makes it hard to hear 3D audio, but you can hear it if you zoom in and intentionally move the camera around your units. Audio to the north will sound above you, and audio to the south will sound below you. This is standard for RTS game audio, which is why this genre has never really been high priority for the channel until now with the recent Reforged controversy. Unfortunately, the audio rolls off pretty quickly so it's not as useful for locating off-screen enemies as you'd think.
