Warframe is a third person shooter where you play as ninjas with special powers in an ongoing war. You battle against corrupted robots and take their gear to become stronger. The game is free but has in-game purchases, which do not give a competitive advantage over other players. Warframe is fun to play alone or with friends and offers several different co-op missions or PvP modes.
In the early stages of the game, you have to pick a starting Warframe, each one giving different abilities for you to master during your journey through space. However, unlike most shooters, there are no classes that limit how you choose to fight your enemies -you can combine roles from all tested frames without being punished.
The game is set in the future, with you as a Tenno, who must protect the Solar System from the Grineer and Corpus forces. There are several regions that you can explore through different missions. There are several ways to fight in game with the most popular being melee weapons and guns -however, there are additional abilities that can be unlocked so you can customize your build. One of the best things about this game is that once you have mastered a weapon or ability, you will always benefit from having it equipped when doing missions. Once you become better at combat with your Warframe, there are special modes that open up where enemies come onto map in waves for players looking for more of challenge such as endless defense or survival mode type scenarios. At the end of every mission, you get rewards based on your performance -you get additional credits if your goal was completed faster than normal or if less agents were incapacitated during the mission.
