We Can't Stop Collecting Nintendo Switch, Switch OLED & Switch Lite Consoles!
87Over The years, few video game companies have captured player's loyalties like Nintendo. After the 1983 video game crash, Nintendo became a must-have in the living room. When they entered the handheld market, specifically with different color options, you saw people buying multiples just to have these variants. Fast-forward to the latest Nintendo console, the Nintendo Switch, Switch Lite, and Switch OLED, Having multiples on one house has again become the norm. We're now up to 5 total systems between 3 players, let's take a look at the systems we have as we can't stop collecting different Switch Systems!
Launch-Day Original Switch
This is the one that started it all for me, and it still gets used nearly 7 years later. This is the system I feel in love with. This system traveled with me to Germany, Florida, Portland, and more.
Launch Day Switch Lite
The second Switch I bought was actually for my Wife. she's not a gamer, but she was interested in trying it out. This system is almost exclusively used for Animal Crossing, and I'm good with that.
Nintendo Switch OLED
While the Switch mostly gets played in docked mode by me, there were some intriguing features of the OLED that I didn't expect. For filming the screen directly, the OLED display blows the original's out of the water. The audio is also way improved! I appreciate this system more than I thought I would.
Super Mario 2023 Switch OLED
I love Super Mario, so when Nintendo announced a limited Edition Mario Switch OLED, after I missed out on the first Mario Switch, I knew I needed this. The themeing could be better, but this has become my personal primary Switch.
Blue Switch OLED
My youngest has taken to playing my wife's Switch Lite with Animal Crossing, and I'm recent months we've really enjoyed playing Mario Kart 8 Deluxe. We are seeing how she takes care of it to see how things develop in the future.
