Weekly Painting Progress- 8/17/20 Work started, paining continues!
Jeez what a week. I'm more tired than I usually am after the first week of school. It's a lot of work sitting on your butt and not moving for hours on end.
Squeezed a few things in this week.
Another Necron Nihilak Boomer. Some random The Other Side models, which I think are probably better options for Through the Breach than the actual models they made. Or just steampunk games in general. The Borderers and Black Ops are some of the most unique models Wyrd ever made, and every single figure in those sets is unique. Get them while they're still around if you dig the punk.
Dig a quickie on those Skumgrot Skyraiders. They painted up nicely. I'd like to see a few more options for them some day down the line. I'll have to play around with shrinking some still.
Finally painted my little Kingdom Death kid. About time! She was about 75% done since 1.5 arrived.
Then there's Nagoriyuki. I am pretty sure this model was done before the actual character reveal trailer for him (he's a new character in Guilty Gear Strive). I love Guilty Gear even though I haven't been good at it since the original on the PS1.
I dig his design but I feel the colors and the design of his clothes don't work that well in this case. I tried. I need to do something to fix it up, as I'm not satisfied with the paint job yet. It certainly gets me in the mood for more tabletop Guilty Gear!
Now if only somebody out there wanted to go sculpt a good and proper Baiken! Or Sol! Heck, we could go real obscure and see if anyone wants to take a crack at Guilty Gear 2 designs. That'd be pretty hardcore!
