Not a week should go by without me posting a Kingdom Death model.
Thankfully there seems to be a good supply of them still sitting on my shelves, so that shouldn't change any time soon.
Here's another entry in to the "generic" line of models, based on the typical class choices offered in RPGs (which often serve as inspiration for the models of Echoes of Death boxed sets). While we've had a Cleric before, this is more in the vein of a religious priestess (as opposed to the more nature affiliated Cleric).
She's an interesting take on the subject. She's stocky and tough (as evidenced by her missing eye on nonchalant attitude towards carrying a giant club) and the smoking cigarette is an interesting addition. I'm surprised by actual crosses on the model. Seems like something they would have replaced with a vague piece of iconography to give a similar idea. Doesn't bother me but considering KD's subject material, seems like a thing other's might have an issue with.
Then there's the picnic basket... I'm trying to figure out its inclusion still.
Thankfully construction can be completed with the body separate from the cloak- which means you an actually get everything painted prior to gluing it all together in the end.
Those pieces are going to certainly be delicate though. I'm impressed I didn't break the smoke coming off her cig, to be honest. Perhaps we'll see her in the Echoes of Death 3 that's been teased...?
I also just realized I've never opened number 2, despite owning it since it was released. Better get on that...
