Titan Forge Miniatures: Jurassica, First to charge!
58Funny enough, Titan Forge just showed this model is going to be part of September's Patreon rewards (along with the swanky Conquistador Ogres) so here's a bit of a sneak preview!
Most likely the printable version will be cut differently (or entirely whole) but she's a good sized model. This was originally from the Raid on the Temple of Serpents kickstarter. The models at that time were all physical rewards but Titan Forge seems to be transitioning (and doing quite well at it) to purely STL digital files.
Jurassica is supposed to be the leader of what Titan Forge refers to as the "Brutosaur Riders," which is a heavy cavalry unit of mounted Serpent Guard (the Amazon equivalent of heavy infantry/ Temple Guard for Seraphon). There Brutosaur is a larger and heavier mount than the more traditional raptors which Titan Forge has made cavalry units of as well.
It's certainly nice to see that all the cavalry dinosaurs are fully feathered! Jurassica's mount is also more heavily armored than the regular Brutosaur riders.
I think she'd fit in quite nicely with both Lizardmen/ Seraphon cavalry or dark elf cold one riders (along the lines of what Tabletop Combat is doing with their Desert of the Dead models) if you ever wanted to mix some Amazon types into other fantasy armies.
She'll also be a nice addition to the ever- growing range of Amazons that Titan Forge has offered up as STL files for 3D printing from home.
