Taking a brief reprieve from samurai related models, let's delve into something else I've always enjoyed. Giant bug monsters! Wheeeee!
Mythos originally got started via kickstarter, as I can remember the campaign having some neat ideas. Warcradle then acquired the rights and has steadily been releasing content for the game- which you can check out as the rules and stats are all available online for free if you're curious.
Consisting of six models of varying sizes, I feel they give you a good variety in terms of a basic starting force. I'm not 100% sure how you'd expand your faction from there as I'm not very far in the rules still.
The human models are nice if a bit plain. The grubs could be a nice addition to Nurgle collections. I was glad the parts are keyed differently as I was afraid I'd mix everything up.
The Crypt Sham is probably my favorite as it reminds me of the movie Mimic.
The big bug is pretty nice, if a little on the thin side. I dig his mask. The challenge with a model like it is always getting the feet flush with the ground, which I somehow managed to do! That's a rarity for me!
