In this episode, we continue Chapter 11 of Fire Emblem: Path of Radiance - Blood Runs Red. We pick up in the middle of combat this time, as our forces are split along 4 separate paths. I spend some time reuniting most of them, but due to some poor planning my mounted units get overwhelmed by enemies and Kieran dies. Once I’ve caught up, I start entering houses and getting some items from the people inside. Lethe recruits a myrmidon named Zihark who wants to help laguz, and he helps take out the vigilantes with his powerful killing edge. I use Boyd to lure over the boss; however, Boyd has a halberd and can’t attack the bow-equipped boss. I’m an idiot,
Fire Emblem: Path of Radiance (Fire Emblem 9/FE9) is a tactical RPG developed by Intelligent Systems (a division of Nintendo) for the Nintendo GameCube in 2005. It is the ninth entry in the Fire Emblem series, a beloved Tactical RPG series known for its engaging gameplay, interesting characters, and support conversations. Path of Radiance tells the story of Ike, a young Mercenary who lives in the Kingdom of Crimea. When the neighboring nation of Daein invades Crimea, Ike and his mercenary company are forced to evacuate Crimea. When they encounter the lost princess of Crimea, Elincia, their lives change forever. What ensues is a journey of reclaiming their homeland, and confronting a deadly evil. Common themes in the game are racism, the circumstances of one’s birth, and the consequences of war. Path of Radiance is one of the most sought after and expensive GameCube games, and so not many Fire Emblem fans have been able to experience it. So I want to share the game with the world!
