In this episode, we manage the base of Chapter 12 of Fire Emblem: Path of Radiance - A Strange Land. We read support conversations for Titania and Boyd and for Mist and Rolf. We also read a variety of info conversations. In one of these, a stowaway thief kid named Sothe is caught by Ike and Nasir. He agrees to join the mercenaries. We also get some character development for Volke, Zihark, and Ilyana. Zihark chooses to fight for unity between laguz and beorc, which he finds as common ground between he and Ike. I then manage my items and bonus experience. I forge an iron lance for Brom called the Cowpoke.
Fire Emblem: Path of Radiance (Fire Emblem 9/FE9) is a tactical RPG developed by Intelligent Systems (a division of Nintendo) for the Nintendo GameCube in 2005. It is the ninth entry in the Fire Emblem series, a beloved Tactical RPG series known for its engaging gameplay, interesting characters, and support conversations. Path of Radiance tells the story of Ike, a young Mercenary who lives in the Kingdom of Crimea. When the neighboring nation of Daein invades Crimea, Ike and his mercenary company are forced to evacuate Crimea. When they encounter the lost princess of Crimea, Elincia, their lives change forever. What ensues is a journey of reclaiming their homeland, and confronting a deadly evil. Common themes in the game are racism, the circumstances of one’s birth, and the consequences of war. Path of Radiance is one of the most sought after and expensive GameCube games, and so not many Fire Emblem fans have been able to experience it. So I want to share the game with the world!
