12Nigel Pearson had successfully steered Leicester City clear of relegation in the 2014-15 Premier League season, Leicester’s first year back in the top flight for over a decade. Pearson was sacked for off-field antics, which was deemed harsh. However, a year later Leicester City were English champions after their 5,000/1 team shocked the footballing world.
