Vicarious trauma is trauma symptoms experienced after observing a traumatic situation. That traumatic situation could be anything you weren't prepared for or already had the coping skills necessary to cope with the traumatic event.

In this video, I provide two practical examples of vicarious trauma and break down the concept.
