Rallis India Ltd. has been the worst-performing agrochemical company. The share prices, of the Tata Group company, have declined around 29% from the start of the year. The 29% drop marks the worst start to the year for the Rakesh Jhunjhunwala-owned stock.
Delayed monsoon and lower volumes owing to price hikes are expected to impact revenue, according to Edelweiss. On the other hand, steep inflation in raw material prices, persistent pressure on the bottom line, high-cost inventory, and no new blockbuster product launch are the other factors ailing the share prices of Rallis India.
