Why I do not recommend Comwave Home Phone over Videotron's telephony service

This video will review why I do not recommend the Comwave Home Phone service over other telephony providers such as Videotron. Comwave, advertised frequently on the CBC News Network with Tie Domi (NHL hockey legend) as their spokesperson, does not provide hardware to connect directly to the Comwave home phone service when subscribed ONLY to the Comwave home phone service. Instead, they only provide hardware to connect to the customer's EXISTING high speed internet connection and the customer's EXISTING router, using the backbone, resources, bandwidth, connection, and hardware that the customer already pays their internet service provider for. If Comwave ONLY offered home phone service exclusively, perhaps I would have been more forgiving, however Comwave IS an internet service provider (ISP). They offer high speed internet service to clients who pay close to $30 additional to their initial Comwave Home Phone fee in order to obtain Comwave Home Phone service over Comwave's backbone connection. Other telephony providers (such as Videotron in Quebec) provide the hardware to connect to Videotron's backbone connection directly, even if the customer is not subscribed to Videotron's, or any, internet service.
