Why Smaller Transformers Can Survive After Being Decapitated. Something that I noticed in the Bayverse Transformers films. Is that smaller robots were able to survive after their heads were severed or blown from their bodies. We first saw this with the character Frenzy who was still able to function after having his head sawed off by Mikayla. And we see Mohawk get his body blown to pieces by Bumblebee but he’s still able to talk. But the bigger Cybertronians aren’t afforded that luxury. As seen with characters like Bonecrusher and Onslaught. And that’s because unlike the normal size characters whose sparks are in their chests. The smaller characters sparks are in their heads. They can essentially survive as long as their Brain Module remains intact. In Frenzy’s case he was lucky he had a special, decentralized, modular nervous system. However, if their heads are directly damaged then it means that they’ll be wiped offline. I find it funny that these guys share the same voice actor. It’s almost as if they could be brothers from another Cybertronian mother.
